CareLeaks is an independent investigative journalism platform. We accept tips related to long-term care facilities, corporate ownership structures, regulatory violations, financial misconduct, and harm to workers or residents.
Source Protection
We protect source identity by default. We will not publish any information that could identify a source without their explicit consent. Tips may be used to inform or support investigations but are never shared with third parties, law enforcement, or facility operators.
Your Control
You are not required to identify yourself at any point. If you choose to communicate with our journalists, you control how much you share and when. You can withdraw from contact at any time.
How to Submit Safely
We recommend submitting through Tor Browser for maximum anonymity. Do not submit from a work device, work network, or any device that could be linked to your identity.
Publication
CareLeaks has no obligation to publish based on a submission. We review all tips and follow up when we can.
